  • Remove decaying leaves and other debris
  • Promote fish health
  • Enjoy clearer water
What does a pond clean out entail?
  • Drain pond
  • Place fish in a temporary tank with an aerator
  • Remove debris from pond
  • Redistribute small rocks and gravel
  • Trim aquatic plants 
  • Rinse pond and scrub rocks
  • Service pump to make sure it is clean and functioning properly
  • Clean filters and skimmer
  • Check all underwater lights
  • Start filling pond 
  • Add dechlorinator, beneficial bacteria, and barley extract
  • Reintroduce fish into pond
